This run is being done in Julia Thomson’s honour and is dedicated to everyone that has supported The Julia Centre through sponsorship, fundraising and volunteer work over the past 10 years.

A message from Julia Thomson’s parents, Bill and Cecilia Thomson, 2019
The Julia Centre has become, in the last 10 years, a focal point for many community projects, from cultural performances of Brazilian music, sports for the locals, and a haven for small children whose parents can leave them in a safe environment while they are at work.
One of the most satisfying achievements in the last 10 years is seeing some of our original intake of children, who would at the time have been 5 or 6 years old, staying in touch with us and coming back, to themselves volunteer to help in The Julia Centre.
We are very proud of them and hope to be able to continue the work we are doing at this crucial stage of these children’s and young adult’s lives. Thank you for your continued support.
