ASICS 10K RUN – 21st JULY 2019

In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of The Julia Centre, India Staunton & Rory-Dean Morgan are taking part in the Virgin Sports ASICS 10K run around some of London’s most famous landmarks on Sunday 21st July 2019 to raise funds for The Julia Centre.

The Virgin Sports ASICS 10K run is one of the world’s most vibrant road races – and is a no holds barred street party creating a festival atmosphere in the heart of London with live music and DJ sets. This run is being done in Julia Thomson’s honour and is dedicated to everyone that has supported The Julia Centre through sponsorship, fundraising and volunteer work over the past 10 years.

SPONSORSHIP – DONATE & MAKE A DIFFERENCE

To mark the 10 year anniversary and to help continue the impactful work at The Julia Centre we ask that you pledge your support through sponsorship. Any donations large or small would be appreciated. 100% of the sponsorship money goes towards the running costs of the centre and directly to helping the people for whom it is intended.

A message from Julia Thomson’s parents, Bill and Cecilia Thomson, 2019

The Julia Centre has become, in the last 10 years, a focal point for many community projects, from cultural performances of Brazilian music, sports for the locals, and a haven for small children whose parents can leave them in a safe environment while they are at work.

One of the most satisfying achievements in the last 10 years is seeing some of our original intake of children, who would at the time have been 5 or 6 years old, staying in touch with us and coming back, to themselves volunteer to help in The Julia Centre.

We are very proud of them and hope to be able to continue the work we are doing at this crucial stage of these children’s and young adult’s lives. Thank you for your continued support.
